Dear Plasma Spectrochemist, dear Colleague,

We cordially invite you to attend the 2027 European Winter Conference on Plasma Spectrochemistry (EWCPS), to be held in Athens, Greece, from February 7 to 12, 2027.

The EWCPS, organized for the 1st time in 1985, is a well-established international conference series, which brings together a dynamic and diverse community of plasma spectrochemists, scientists interested in the analytical applications of plasma-based techniques, and colleagues from both academia and industry. The EWCPS has long been a forum where established leaders in the field meet and interact with early-career and emerging researchers.

As always, the conference will provide a platform to present, discuss, and exchange ideas on the most recent scientific results and developments in all areas of plasma spectrochemistry and related mass and emission spectrometric techniques, including ICP-MS, GD-MS, ICP-AES, DCP-AES, MIP-AES, LIBS, and LAMIS. The EWCPS is widely recognized for stimulating scientific dialogue and fostering lasting collaborations within our community and beyond.

We warmly encourage you to attend and contribute to an outstanding scientific program featuring plenary, keynote, and heritage lectures, as well as a series of special sessions, vibrant poster presentations, and technical short courses. The conference will take place at the Megaron International Conference Centre, a premier venue located in the heart of Athens, just minutes away from world-renowned museums, historic landmarks, and lively city hotspots.
